CHAPTER 18 · PART 2 OF 3
How to Share Your Business Online: Reach More of the Right People + Build Connections!
WISELY SHARE…
Discover how to share your wonderful content, products + services through thoughtful social media, online communities + meaningful recommendations that help the right people find, enjoy + remember your business!
💛 You've Created Something Wonderful. Now Let's Help People Discover It!
Hello, my wise friend!
Imagine you’ve just created something you’re especially excited to share.
Perhaps it’s a helpful article filled with ideas your customers would LOVE.
A beautiful new product you’ve thoughtfully designed.
A service that could make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Or a little video that explains something you’ve learned through your own experiences.
You finish creating it, take one last look + smile.
Wonderful! And then comes an important question.
How will the people who would genuinely appreciate what you’ve created ever know it’s there?
Perhaps you’ll share it on social media.
Mention it in an online community.
Send it to people who’ve asked to hear from you.
Or discover that someone who loves your work has recommended it to a friend.
Each of these possibilities can help introduce your business to people who might otherwise never have discovered it!
But here’s something I’d LOVE you to remember.
You don’t need to be everywhere, post constantly or turn every conversation into a sales opportunity.
You can begin with a much more thoughtful approach.
You don't need EVERYONE to see what you've created.
You want the RIGHT people to discover something they'd genuinely LOVE!
In Chapter 17, we explored how to create content that Inspires, Informs + Impacts.
Now we’re going to take that content one exciting step further.
We’ll explore how to share your business online in ways that feel natural, useful + meaningful – while creating opportunities for the RIGHT people to discover your wonderful content, products + services.
And by the time we’ve finished, you’ll know how to take ONE valuable message, share it thoughtfully in TWO relevant places + make it easy for interested people to continue exploring your business!
Because creating something worth sharing is an important beginning.
Helping it reach the people who would appreciate it is another wonderful part of building your Wise eDynasty!
🌷 Begin With WHERE Your Customers Might LOVE to Discover You!
Here’s something interesting to consider.
Not everyone discovers businesses in the same way.
Perhaps one person enjoys browsing inspiring photographs.
Another loves watching helpful demonstrations.
Someone else prefers reading thoughtful articles.
And another may discover a wonderful business because a friend enthusiastically recommended it!
Different people have different interests, habits + favorite places to explore.
And those differences can help guide how you share your business.
💛 Think Beyond Where YOU Like to Spend Time!
Imagine you create beautiful handmade home accessories.
You might discover that your potential customers enjoy exploring visual inspiration, decorating ideas + photographs of inviting living spaces.
Now imagine you offer professional business consulting.
Your customers may be more interested in practical insights, professional conversations + helpful articles that address their business challenges.
And perhaps you offer a digital planner designed for busy families.
Your audience might appreciate quick organizational tips, relatable everyday examples + recommendations from other parents.
Notice something?
The best place to share your message isn’t necessarily the most popular platform – or even the one YOU enjoy using most!
It’s a place where the people you’d LOVE to reach have a meaningful opportunity to discover something relevant + valuable.
✨ Three Wise Considerations Before Choosing Where to Share
Before opening another social media account or adding a new marketing activity, consider these three questions.
1. CUSTOMER – Are the RIGHT people likely to be there?
Where might your potential customers already spend time discovering ideas, asking questions or exploring solutions?
2. CONTENT – Does this place suit what I’d LOVE to share?
Would your message be most useful as a photograph, helpful explanation, short video, professional insight or thoughtful conversation?
3. PRACTICALITY – Can I participate meaningfully?
Can you share + connect in this place without creating an unreasonable amount of additional work for yourself?
You don’t need perfect answers.
Begin with what you know about your customers, then continue learning as you share.
Wise little thought: The wisest place to begin sharing is somewhere your message, your customers + your business can connect meaningfully!
🦋 Discover Different Ways to Share Your Business Online!
Now let’s explore a few wonderful possibilities.
Each offers a different way to introduce your business, share something useful + create meaningful connections.
And each serves a slightly different purpose.
🌷👩🏻💻 1. Social Media -
Help New People Discover + Explore!
Social media can create opportunities for people to discover your business through photographs, posts, videos, stories, conversations + shared recommendations.
Perhaps you use Instagram to showcase beautiful products.
Facebook to share helpful ideas + connect with interested communities.
Pinterest to make visual inspiration + resources easier to discover.
LinkedIn to share professional knowledge + connect with people interested in your services.
Or YouTube to demonstrate, explain or explore topics in greater detail.
These are examples, not rules.
Each platform has different audiences, formats + ways of presenting content.
And those features can change.
The important thing is to consider what suits your customers, your business + the type of content you want to share.
Here’s something worth remembering.
A social media post doesn’t have to advertise a product directly to create value for your business.
Perhaps you share a helpful tip.
An inspiring photograph.
A thoughtful story.
Or a short explanation of something your customers would appreciate understanding.
Someone discovers your message.
They enjoy what you’ve shared.
And perhaps they become curious about the business behind it.
Social media can help create that first meaningful discovery – and invite interested people to explore further!
💡👥 2. Online Communities -
Contribute Before You Promote!
Online communities bring together people who share interests, experiences, goals or challenges.
Perhaps there’s a community for aspiring entrepreneurs.
A group discussing home organization.
Or a professional network where people exchange ideas + practical advice.
These can be meaningful places to learn, contribute + connect.
But here’s an important distinction.
Being part of a community isn’t simply an opportunity to advertise your business.
Imagine joining a group where someone asks for advice about organizing a busy family schedule.
If you have useful experience, perhaps you can offer a thoughtful suggestion.
Answer a question.
Or share something you’ve learned.
And if the group’s rules allow relevant business links, there may occasionally be an appropriate opportunity to introduce a helpful resource or service.
But that invitation should genuinely fit the conversation.
Respect the community’s guidelines, avoid unsolicited promotional messages + remember that people deserve to feel valued -not targeted.
Meaningful relationships begin with contribution, respect + trust.
📝💌 3. Email -
Continue Connections With People Who WANT to Hear From You!
Perhaps someone has already discovered your business.
They enjoyed a helpful resource.
Explored your website.
Or signed up to receive updates because they’d LOVE to hear more.
Wonderful!
With their permission, email can help you continue that connection.
Perhaps you’ll share a useful idea.
Introduce something new.
Offer a thoughtful reminder.
Or invite readers to explore a product or service that may interest them.
And because these people have chosen to hear from you, you’re not beginning every conversation with a complete stranger.
You’re continuing a relationship.
Of course, email communication should respect applicable marketing rules, consent requirements + people’s preferences, including their ability to unsubscribe.
But when approached thoughtfully, it can become a meaningful way to keep your business connected with interested customers.
The goal isn’t simply to send more emails.
It’s to give people good reasons to welcome hearing from YOU!
🌟💫 4. Recommendations -
Let Wonderful Experiences Inspire Sharing!
And here’s one of my favorite possibilities.
Imagine someone purchases one of your products.
They absolutely LOVE it!
Perhaps they tell a friend.
Share a photograph.
Mention your business during a conversation.
Or send someone a link because they think your offer would be a perfect fit.
What a wonderful compliment!
Recommendations can introduce your business through the genuine experiences of people who appreciate what you’ve created.
And while you can’t control whether someone recommends your business, you CAN make thoughtful sharing easier.
Perhaps your product pages have clear, shareable links.
Your customers can easily find your business name.
Or you provide a simple way for happy customers to leave a review or share feedback, where appropriate.
You might also warmly invite someone who’s enjoyed their experience to share your business with a friend who might appreciate it.
Never pressure people to recommend you, and always respect their privacy + permission before sharing their photographs, comments or stories.
If a recommendation involves a paid partnership, affiliate relationship or other material connection, appropriate disclosure matters too.
A genuine recommendation can be especially meaningful because it begins with someone’s experience-not simply a promotional message!
💛 One Wonderful Message. Several Thoughtful Ways to Share!
Now, let’s make this practical!
Remember our home organization example from Chapter 17?
We created a helpful piece of content about making a busy family entryway more organized.
Our central idea was:
“Three Simple Ways to Make Your Family Entryway More Organized!”
Wonderful!
We’ve already created something useful.
Now let’s explore how we might introduce that same idea in different places.
And here’s the important distinction:
We don’t need to invent a completely different message for every platform. We can thoughtfully ADAPT one valuable idea to the way people enjoy discovering content!
🌷👩🏻💻 Example 1:
A Social Media Post
Imagine sharing a beautiful photograph of a thoughtfully organized family entryway.
Your caption might read:
A Little More Calm for Your Busy Family Entryway! 💛
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to walk through your front door + feel welcomed by a lovely, organized space?
One little change that can help is giving everyone’s everyday belongings a designated home – somewhere easy to reach + easy to maintain!
I’ve shared three simple ideas for making a busy family entryway more organized, welcoming + practical.
Discover all three ideas in my latest article!
[LINK TO ARTICLE]
Notice what we’ve accomplished.
The photograph creates an inviting first impression.
The opening introduces a possibility the reader might LOVE.
The helpful suggestion provides immediate value.
And the link gives interested people somewhere meaningful to continue.
💡👥 Example 2:
A Helpful Community Conversation
Now imagine someone asks in an online community:
“Does anyone have a simple way to stop shoes + school bags from taking over the front door?”
Perhaps you respond:
“One little change that can help is giving each family member a designated place for the things they use every day. It doesn’t need to be elaborate – just easy to reach + easy to maintain!
I’ve found that simple systems often work better than complicated ones, especially for busy families.”
Wonderful!
You’ve shared something useful.
And if someone asks for more ideas – or the community welcomes relevant resources – you may have an appropriate opportunity to introduce your article.
Notice the difference?
You haven’t copied an advertisement into a conversation. You’ve contributed something relevant!
📝💌 Example 3:
An Email to Interested Readers
Now imagine sharing the same article with people who’ve chosen to receive your emails.
Subject: A Little More Calm for Your Busy Family Entryway!
Hello, my friend!
Have you ever wondered how everyone’s shoes, bags + jackets seem to gather in the same little corner of your home?
Well, I’ve put together three simple ideas that could help make your family entryway a little more welcoming + easier to manage.
One of my favorites?
Give the things everyone uses most often a designated home!
I’d LOVE to share the other two ideas with you.
Explore the Three Simple Entryway Organization Ideas!
[LINK TO ARTICLE]
Notice how this version feels a little more personal?
It speaks directly to people who’ve already chosen to hear from the business.
It introduces a helpful idea.
And it invites them to explore the complete article.
One valuable piece of content.
Three thoughtful ways to introduce it.
And each respects the experience of the people discovering it.
You don't need to create something NEW every time you share.
You can create something VALUABLE - and help the right people discover it in meaningful ways!
✨ Make Your Shared Content Easier to Discover, Enjoy + Explore!
Now, here’s something else worth considering.
Imagine scrolling through a collection of posts, photographs + messages.
What makes you stop for a moment?
Perhaps it’s a beautiful image.
A question that feels especially relevant.
A helpful idea.
Or a few words that immediately speak to something you’ve been thinking about.
Your customers are no different!
And while you can’t guarantee that someone will notice your message, you CAN make it clearer, more inviting + easier to understand.
You may have heard the term Social Media Optimization, or SMO.
It sounds technical, doesn’t it?
But an important part of SMO is simply making your content easier for people to discover, understand, enjoy + share on the platforms you use.
Let’s explore four practical opportunities.
🌷 1. Begin With a Meaningful Opening + Caption!
Instead of:
“New blog post available!”
You might share:
“Does your family entryway sometimes feel like the busiest little corner of your entire home?”
Or:
“Imagine coming home to a welcoming space where everything has its place!”
These openings introduce something relevant to the reader.
They give people a reason to become curious.
And they make the message about more than the fact that you’ve published something.
Your caption can then explain why the idea matters, share something helpful or introduce a relevant opportunity to explore further.
For example, a photograph of a handmade candle might be accompanied by:
“Looking for a little way to make your evenings feel more welcoming? Discover how a thoughtfully chosen candle fragrance can help create the atmosphere you’d LOVE at home!”
The caption connects the image with a meaningful customer interest.
The goal isn’t simply to capture attention. It’s to give the RIGHT people a reason to care!
💛 2. Let Your Visuals Support Your Message!
If you’re sharing a photograph or video, choose something that helps people understand or imagine what you’re discussing.
Perhaps it’s a beautiful product photograph.
A short demonstration.
A helpful before-and-after comparison.
Or a simple image featuring a meaningful question.
Make sure your visuals are relevant, accurate + accessible.
For example, captions can help people understand videos when they can’t hear the audio, and useful image descriptions can make meaningful visuals more accessible where supported.
You don’t need elaborate designs.
A clear, thoughtful presentation can be wonderfully effective.
🔎 3. Use Relevant Words + Platform Features Thoughtfully!
Many social platforms use words in captions, titles, descriptions + other content to help people discover relevant posts.
Some also support hashtags as a way of organizing or discovering topics.
For example, a post about handmade candles might naturally mention:
Handmade candles · Home fragrance · Thoughtful gifts
And where hashtags are useful, you might choose a few that genuinely reflect the topic.
But here’s my advice:
Don’t confuse adding more hashtags with creating a more meaningful message!
Hashtags are optional discovery tools – not a universal requirement for successful sharing.
Their usefulness depends on the platform, its current features + what genuinely helps your audience discover relevant content.
You may also find that a platform allows you to feature a post, add a useful link to your profile or place a helpful comment beneath your content.
For example, a pinned comment might introduce a relevant resource or clarify where someone can find the featured offer.
These options can be useful, but they’re not guaranteed ways to increase your reach.
The principle remains the same:
Use the features available to make your message more understandable, relevant + easy to explore!
🦋 4. Give Interested People a Clear Next Step!
And now comes something especially important.
Imagine someone enjoys what you’ve shared.
They’d LOVE to learn more.
What happens next?
Can they easily discover the related article?
Find the product you’ve featured?
Explore your service?
Or visit your online boutique?
Sometimes a simple invitation makes all the difference.
For example:
“Discover all three ideas in my latest article!”
“Explore the personalized keepsake collection!”
“Learn more about my online consultations!”
And when you can, provide a direct, relevant link.
If a platform doesn’t allow clickable links in a particular type of post, make the next step clear using the link options it does support.
You may also find it useful to keep your business profile current, with an understandable description + a working website link.
👟 One Little Wise Link Check!
Before sharing, take a moment to test the destination.
Does the link work?
Does it open the intended page?
Can visitors easily find what you’ve invited them to explore?
And does the page display comfortably on a phone?
These little details can make a meaningful difference to someone’s experience.
A wonderful message can create interest. A thoughtful next step helps that interest become an opportunity to explore your business!
🦋 Remember That Sharing Is Also About Connecting!
Now, there’s something especially important I’d LOVE you to consider.
Sharing your business isn’t simply about publishing messages.
It’s also about the people who discover them.
Imagine someone leaves a thoughtful comment.
Asks a question.
Shares an experience.
Or expresses interest in one of your offers.
Wonderful!
These moments can create opportunities for genuine connection.
💛 Respond With the Same Care You'd Offer in Your Boutique!
Perhaps someone asks whether a product comes in another size.
Or whether your service is suitable for their particular needs.
Maybe they want to know where they can find more information.
A clear, thoughtful response can help them feel welcome + understood.
And sometimes, their question reveals something useful for your business.
Perhaps your product description could explain an important detail more clearly.
Or your next article could answer a question several people have asked.
You don’t need to turn every interaction into a sale.
But you can approach conversations as opportunities to help people + learn from what matters to them.
Behind every comment, message or shared recommendation is a PERSON – not simply another marketing number!
🌷 Build Relationships That Work for Your Customers + YOU!
Of course, meaningful connection doesn’t mean responding instantly to everything.
You’re building a business, not committing to spending every waking moment online!
You can create thoughtful boundaries around when + how you respond.
Provide clear ways for customers to contact you.
And develop simple routines that help you manage conversations without allowing them to take over your day.
The goal is to be welcoming, dependable + genuinely helpful while building a business that works for YOU, too.
🦋💫 Discover the Wise Share + Connect Method!
Now, my wise friend, let’s bring everything together into a simple method you can use whenever you’re ready to share something valuable.
Remember, in Chapter 17 we explored how to CREATE content using four Wise steps:
CHOOSE → INVITE → HELP → CONNECT.
Now that you’ve created something worthwhile, let’s discover how to help it reach the RIGHT people!
Five Wise Steps to Share With Purpose! 💫
01. SELECT – Choose Something Valuable to Share!
Begin with ONE useful article, helpful video, meaningful message, product or service.
Ask yourself:
What have I created that someone would genuinely appreciate discovering?
02. PLACE – Choose Where the RIGHT People Might Discover It!
Identify ONE or TWO appropriate places where your potential customers may already be exploring related ideas or solutions.
Consider the audience, the format + what’s practical for your business.
03. ADAPT – Introduce Your Message Thoughtfully!
Adjust your opening, visual or explanation to suit the people + context.
A social media caption may look different from a personal email or a helpful community response.
The underlying value remains the same.
04. CONNECT – Make the Next Step Clear!
Help interested people continue toward a relevant article, product, service or online boutique.
Use a working link or another clear, appropriate invitation.
And make sure the destination supports what you’ve promised.
05. LEARN – Notice What Happens Next!
Now here’s an especially valuable little step.
After you’ve shared, pay attention to what you discover.
Perhaps someone asks a question.
Shares your message.
Explores a related product.
Or expresses interest in learning more.
You may also have access to useful information about visits, clicks or other responses, depending on the platforms + tools you use.
You don’t need to analyze every number today.
We’ll explore that more deeply in Chapter 19.
For now, simply begin noticing what your customers respond to + what you might improve next time.
SELECT → PLACE → ADAPT → CONNECT → LEARN
One valuable message. Thoughtful sharing. Meaningful opportunities to connect!
👟 Wise Pro Move – Already Sharing Your Business Online?
Here’s an opportunity especially worth exploring if you’ve already launched!
Choose ONE piece of content you’ve shared recently.
Now look beyond how many people saw it.
Consider:
- Did I share it somewhere relevant to the people I’d LOVE to reach?
- Did my opening make the value clear?
- Could interested people easily discover the related offer or resource?
- Did the response reveal anything useful about what customers appreciate?
Perhaps your message was valuable but shared in a place where few relevant customers were likely to discover it.
Maybe people showed interest, but the next step wasn’t clear.
Or perhaps an article received a wonderful response and deserves to be introduced to another relevant audience.
Sometimes, the greatest opportunity isn’t to share MORE. It’s to make your existing sharing more purposeful!
Choose ONE thoughtful improvement.
Then put it into practice.

🦋 Make Your Next Wise Marketing Steps Simpler!
Angela's Wise Perspective
There’s something I’ve learned through years of working with businesses, including some of the world’s largest organizations.
The value of sharing isn’t simply how many people see your message. It’s whether your message reaches people who might genuinely appreciate it – and gives them a meaningful opportunity to connect with your business.
And this is a distinction I believe every entrepreneur deserves to understand.
It’s easy to become incredibly busy sharing content across different platforms.
Publishing messages.
Following trends.
Creating new promotional activities.
And trying to reach as many people as possible.
But here’s what I’d LOVE you to consider.
How do all those activities connect with the business you’re thoughtfully building?
You see, I believe successful business systems are built by understanding how different activities work together.
And sharing your business online is no exception.
Your message has a purpose.
The audience you choose matters.
The way you introduce your content influences how people experience it.
And the destination you provide gives interested customers somewhere meaningful to continue.
These aren’t simply separate marketing tasks.
They’re connected parts of your customer’s experience with your business.
💛 Create Meaningful Connections, Not an Endless Marketing To-Do List!
Imagine you’ve created a genuinely helpful article.
You share it with people who would appreciate the information.
Someone discovers it, enjoys your perspective + explores a related product or service.
Your online boutique is ready to welcome them.
And your business has the systems + processes in place to support what happens next.
Now imagine another person discovers that same article later through a recommendation.
Or someone shares it with a friend who would find it useful.
One thoughtfully created piece of content has created more than one opportunity to connect.
Of course, not every message will reach the audience you hope for.
Not every interested visitor will become a customer.
And building a successful business still requires ongoing learning, management + thoughtful decisions.
But that’s exactly why I believe it’s so important to connect your marketing with your broader business goals.
Your content, sharing, selling + customer experience shouldn’t operate as disconnected activities. They should work together to support the business you’re building!
And here’s where I’d LOVE you to think even bigger.
Imagine developing a thoughtful approach to sharing that doesn’t require you to chase every new platform or spend your entire day online.
You know what you want to communicate.
You understand who you’d LOVE to reach.
You have meaningful places to share your ideas.
And your online boutique provides a clear destination for people who want to explore further.
Now your sharing efforts have a purpose beyond simply being visible.
They’re helping you build connections that can create value for your customers + opportunities for your business.
Not simply:
“Where else should I post today?”
But also:
“How can I make the most of what I’ve already created – and help it reach the people who would genuinely appreciate it?”
Because, my wise friend, your goal isn’t to build a business that keeps you endlessly busy promoting it.
It’s to build a business that can grow thoughtfully, reward the value you create + help support the life YOU want to live!
And that’s another important part of creating your very own Wise eDynasty. 🦋
💫👟 Your Next Wise Step
Now, my wise friend, here’s a little challenge I’d LOVE you to try!
Think of ONE wonderful thing you’ve created that deserves to be discovered.
Perhaps it’s a helpful article, a beautiful product, a thoughtful video or a service that could make a meaningful difference to someone.
Now ask yourself:
“Who would genuinely LOVE to discover this – and where might I reach them?”
Choose ONE meaningful opportunity to share it.
Introduce it in a way that speaks to the people you’d LOVE to reach, and give anyone who’s interested a simple way to explore further.
Then go ahead.
Share it!
You’ve discovered how to share with purpose. Now give one wonderful idea the opportunity to travel!
Because somewhere out there, someone might genuinely LOVE what you’ve created.
And your next wise share could be the beginning of a wonderful new customer connection! 🦋
