WHY PURPOSE, REACH, AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY MATTER SO MUCH
WISELY SHARE…
Why I care so deeply about meaningful work, being able to reach others, and building a life that is not dependent on someone else to make it possible
As I shared in the last chapter, I wanted my daughters to have more than income alone.
I wanted them to have freedom.
I wanted them to have meaningful opportunity.
And I wanted them to be able to build lives that truly fit who they are.
This chapter goes a little deeper into why that matters so much to me.
What I hope for them
I hope my daughters grow up to be brave, bold, beautiful inside and out, and brilliantly minded. I hope they become thoughtful women who continue learning, continue growing, and continue building lives of real substance and meaning.
Their future does not need to look one particular way.
They may become teachers, scholars, lifelong students, authors, scientists, business owners, shop owners, mothers, or something entirely different.
What matters most to me is not that they follow one specific path.
What matters is that they have the freedom, confidence, and opportunity to pursue the path that is truly theirs.
I want them to be able to share what matters
I also hope they each have something meaningful they want to share.
An idea.
A message.
A gift.
A perspective.
A product.
A service.
A contribution that can help, encourage, teach, or serve others.
And I believe they should be able to reach people digitally and effectively with what they want to share.
That matters now more than ever.
Because in today’s world, being able to reach people online is not just helpful. In many cases, it is essential.
If someone has something worthwhile to offer, it should not be nearly impossible for them to share it well.
Why self-sufficiency matters so much to me
There is another part of this that matters very deeply to me.
I want my daughters to be self-sufficient.
I want them to be able to support themselves.
I want them to be able to generate income.
I want them to be able to build with confidence.
And I do not want them to feel dependent on someone else to fund their future or make their path possible.
To me, there is real power in that.
Not power for its own sake.
But the kind of power that creates steadiness, dignity, choice, and possibility.
The ability to stand on your own feet.
The ability to make wise decisions.
The ability to move forward because you have built something real.
That kind of self-sufficiency can change a life.
Why this shaped my work
These hopes did not stay in the realm of theory for me.
They shaped how I began thinking about business, digital reach, and opportunity.
Because if meaningful people have meaningful things to share, they need a way to reach others. And if they want to build work that supports real life, they need a path that can also lead to real income, practical growth, and long-term sustainability.
That is one reason I care so much about helping people build online more wisely.
Not only so they can sell.
Not only so they can market.
But so they can communicate, contribute, support themselves, and create something that gives them more freedom and possibility over time.
This is about more than business
At its heart, this chapter is not only about business.
It is about purpose.
It is about expression.
It is about meaningful contribution.
And it is about having the ability to build a life that is not limited by unnecessary barriers.
That is why purpose, reach, and self-sufficiency matter so much to me.
And that is why they continue to shape the Wise eDynasty journey.
